The Thrustmaster SimTask Truck-40 Add-On Kit is a set specially designed to enhance the realism of truck and heavy vehicle simulations. Unveiled at Gamescom 2026, it combines an imposing 40 cm diameter steering wheel with an adjustable metal stand, allowing for a driving position much closer to that of a real truck cabin.

The steering wheel has 22 action buttons, allowing many functions used in heavy vehicle simulations to be directly assigned, such as lighting, windshield wipers, cruise control, engine brake or other vehicle-specific controls. Its large 40 cm diameter offers a distinctly different driving feel than a traditional sim racing wheel.

The included metal stand allows the steering wheel position to be brought closer to that of a real truck. It offers four height positions as well as an adjustable tilt up to 30°, making it easier to achieve a more horizontal and comfortable position for long driving sessions.

The Truck-40 is designed to work on PC and consoles with compatible Thrustmaster bases equipped with a removable steering wheel. It supports old and new generation Thrustmaster Quick Release systems. The steering wheel and stand are an add-on: no Force Feedback base is included.
